Core Capacity Assessment Tool
Colton Strawser Consulting is proud to be a partner of TCC Group to offer the Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT®), a leading organizational assessment tool for nonprofits.
The CCAT is a statistically validated organizational capacity assessment that measures a nonprofits’ effectiveness in relation to four core capacities—leadership, adaptability, management, and technical capacities—as well as organizational culture. It has been taken by over 7,000 nonprofits across the country. The CCAT is not a report card but, instead, will provide a snapshot of your organization’s strengths and challenges based on the perceptions of staff and board leadership.
In addition to assessing organizational effectiveness, the CCAT is designed to guide organizations through the creation of a capacity-building action plan, which includes a list of prioritized recommendations, along with strategies to accomplish them.
The CCAT survey takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete and should be taken by all key leaders in your organization (e.g., staff, board members, volunteers) who have an understanding of the organization as a whole, and how decisions are made and resources are allocated.
"The CCAT is a great organizational assessment tool for nonprofits that provides unique insight into areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, including an actionable capacity building template."
