Brett Swendig joined Colton Strawser Consulting as the Director of Growth & Strategy in 2023, bringing nearly ten years of experience in government consulting. In his previous role, he specialized in financial solutions, collaborating with municipalities to offer cost of service analysis, revenue recovery options, and policy guidance. Before that, Brett served as the Director of a nonprofit sports organization, focusing on youth opportunities and athletic development. Additionally, he spent two and a half years working on the Navajo Nation reservation in Monument Valley, Utah, where he contributed to the Octagon Housing Project, various youth programs, and other community support initiatives.

Brett holds a B.A in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, and a master's degree in Public Service and Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from The Bush School of Government & Public Service, Texas A&M University. He has also earned a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida.

Brett lives in Wylie, Texas with his wife, two sons, and two dogs. They enjoy many outdoor adventures and sporting activities together.
