Whether you run a large organization or a one-person shop, manage a large staff or are a one-person department, you need a system that allows you to continue to grow and develop as a nonprofit professional. This is what the team here at Colton Strawser Consulting is seeking to address with our new product – Nonprofit Leadership Toolbox.
Nonprofit Leadership Toolbox is the only continued learning and professional development subscription service on the market developed exclusively for nonprofit professionals. The monthly service is designed to fit a working professional’s schedule and budget.
“I am a big proponent of professional and continuing education, but over the years I have noticed the high costs for many programs that keep it out of reach for myself and other colleagues in the field,” said Colton Strawser, co-creator of the Nonprofit Leadership Toolbox. “My team and I created the box to provide professionals with a rich experience at an affordable cost.”
Elena Hermanson, Chief Operating Officer of Colton Strawser Consulting, added, “After years of working with nonprofit leaders, we noticed that there was a distinct lack of accessible and affordable professional development and continued learning resources for nonprofit professionals. And what was available was time intensive, expensive, and, to be frank, dull.”
The monthly subscription service includes a nonprofit- or leadership-oriented book focused on developing leadership skills for nonprofit professionals; a reading guide with valuable insights and questions; and additional professional development research, worksheets, and tools.
“We called the product ‘Nonprofit Leadership Toolbox’ because our belief is that nonprofits are not broken in need of repair, but improvements can always be made. As a former executive director, I know that one-size does not fit all, but the more tools we can give professionals in the field, the better so they are equipped to handle the problems of today and tomorrow,” shared Strawser.
